The RAWC coaches would like to recognize the 2010 Greco State Placers from our area:

RAWC Banquet
Rawc 2010 Banquet - Sunday May 30th at 2 pm
We are meeting at Caldwell Park, Redding
For food and fun. It will be at the covered picnic area by the river just west of the boat ramp.
We'd like to have everyone there to honor our athletes and get ready for the post season.
Awards and recognition will be given out at 4 pm. This will be a pot luck banquet with the club
providing drinks and meat to BBQ (tube steaks for sure). Everyone else can bring the following based
on last names.
If your name begins with:
A - H: Bring a Salid
I - Q: Bring a Side Dish
R - Z: Bring a Dessert
Wear your RAWC T-shirts (or NAWA Champoin T-shirts) and dress comfortably as we'll be playing Frisbee and Football.
Right after the banquet we will have a club meeeting to discuss the post season and then have elections for next year's board members.

NAWA Championship Tournament Results 2010

Yes, we're RAWC'ing and rolling and our season is now underway. To sign up now, simply show up at one of our Tuesday or Thursday night practices and look for the nice woman with the signup sheets (her name is Jackie). :) The cost for wrestling this year is $80, and includes a USA Wrestling card (insurance), club fees, and $25 dollars of raffle tickets. When you sell the raffle tickets, you keep the money. If you sell them all, your cost for wrestling is $55. That's a superb bargain when compared to other organized sports programs. You can also keep all the tickets if you're feeling lucky.
Next Tournament is in Nawa Championships Saturday May 8th at Shasta High School.

So when are the practices?
Our practice nights are Tuesdays and Thursdays. Wrestlers between the ages of 5 and 12 start at 6pm, and the older kids start at 7pm. Both age groups will practice for approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. We practice in the Shasta High School wrestling room behind the main gym.
